16. Most embarrassing moment of your life so far

Image
I am very much so what you would call an awkward person. Being naturally clumsy throughout my life has resulted in many countless embarrassing moments. It even seems like I am becoming less affected by humiliation. For example, I had managed to walk straight into a pole the other week and despite many people being around to witness the incident, I couldn't have cared less. Having said this, it may have been a one off because there have been plenty of other examples where I have been so  embarrassed I wished I could just curl up and dissapear. One of the worst cases of this was only a few years ago. I had to stop off at the shop to buy a few ingredients for the food tech lesson later that day. It seemed a simple enough task and I had done it many times before so I didn't expect anything to go wrong. However, before I had even made it to the co-op across from school, I managed to trip as I stepped onto the pavement and fell to my knees. The matter was made worse by the ...

15. Favourite music video

Image
Smooth Criminal  I don't think I have ever had just one favourite music video and admitedly, I don't watch them as much as other people do yet I would say I have some knowledge, though it may be limited, with music videos. Firstly, as a child I would always enjoy watching any of Michael Jackson's music videos because whatever he creates is always amazing but choosin just one proved to be more difficult than I had ecpected. However, I came to the conclusion that one of my all time favourites has to be smooth criminal. I remember as a child tring to (and failing) to copy Michael Jacken's legendary dance moves in this video as he shows them off in his iconic white suit, completed with white hat.

14. Favourite tv advert

Image
With tv adverts constantly changing, I never have just one favourite at a time. At the moment, I couldn't think of one I particualalry enjoy but this may be becuase of the fact that I'm watching less tv and therefore, am seeing less adverts. However, I can think of many classic adverts that I still see such as the Comparethemarket.com and GoCompare.com I don't think I will ever forget the Cadbury's Gorill advert, it is a shared favourite for both me and my dad. el But, I can't write about favourite tv adverts without mentioning a John Lewis Chritstmas advert. Each year, so many, including myself look forward to what tear-jerking, emotional advert the brand has created. It makes the Christmas season just that bit more special. Out of the many, I think my favourite has to be the Bear and the Hare (2013).

9.Which person, real or fictional, dead or alive, would you most like to meet?

Image
Audrey Hepburn  Beautiful, sophisticated and iconic are just the first three words that come to mind when I think of Audrey Hepburn. Admittedly, I don't know much about her and, unlike today where celebrites can go on talkshows and interviews, it is difficult to find out a lot. But I wouldn't want to just bombard her with questions, instead I would love to be able to get to know her and understand the life she lived. Just simply being in her presence and getting a glimpse of what she was like and the life she lived would be more than I could ever wish.

8.Best tv/film adaptation of a book you've ever seen?

Image
The Hunger Games Unfortunately, my list of film adaptations of books that I have actually read is regrettably quite short but out of them all, the Hunger Games is at the top. From being a major fan myelf a few years ago, I have seen how large the fan base is of the whole series and it all began with the first book and first film.  I thoughroughly enjoyed the book, beginning to end, I found it to be incredibly captivating and suspenseful and I believe that the producers and cast of the film did the book complete justice.

7. In which literary/fictonal location would you most like to live in?

Image
The fictional world of Harry Potter  It may be one of the most cliche and predictable responses to the question and I did spend quite a lot of time debating and thinking of other ideas. Some of these ideas included Wonderland, Neverland, Narnia and the Shire. All would be exciting to explore, and would be an amazing adventure but I couldn't get the idea of what it would be like to live in the Harry Potter universe out of my head. I would also have to be attending Hogwarts, Firstly, the school's architecture is one of the most breathtaking from any fictional place,  I would love to be able to wander around the great halls and corridors with crystal chandeliers hanging above, whislt walking past talking painting and walking up the moving stairs.  Although The Shire's has the most beautiful scnenery, I feel it would be too quiet, I would need more people around, especailly ones my age to keep me from getting bored. A school full of magic st...

6.Favourite actor?

Image
Benedict Cumberbatch If I'd been asked the question "who is your favoutite actor?" three years ago, my answer would've been simply, Jennifer Lawrence. I will admit, I was quite obssessed with the acadmy award actor that went alongside my obssession with franchises such as: The Hunger Games, Divergent etc... However, there became a point where I grew out of this stage and since then, I can't say I've had just one favourite actor. However, I can say that for a quite a long time Benedict Cumberbatch has been amoung my favourites.  The popular BBC Sherlock series was where I first saw Benedict Cumberbatch as an actor after hearing much about him before. He did not fail to dissapoint in his role of the Protagonist, Sherlock. One of my other favourite roles he has played is Alan Turing, yet another genius, in The Imitation Game.

5.Most memorable line from a film

Image
"You can't sit with us" Mean Girls (2004) is one of the most iconic and popular teen films of our generation. With so many quotable lines, it is not difficult to understand why it is still quoted to this day, "You can't sit with us" is just one of the many lines that I could've chosen. Some of the others include  "Why are you so obsessed with me", "She doesn't even go here" and "So, if you're from Africa, why are you white".

4. Which website/news feed do you get your news from?

Image
BBC News/social media  As a young child, I remember shielding myself from whatever I didn't like in this world, and this would involve avoiding the news as much as possible. However, I quickly realised that I need to know what's going on, I need to be educated and understand what's wrong in this world and the people suffering. To not be ignorant. So I learnt not to ignore the news and although I may not spend my evenings watching the 10 o'clock news every night, I still try and keep updated and with bbc news on my phone, this is simple and easy. I would say that bbc news is probably one of the most reliable sources but I never look at just one. It's so easy with the phones and the internet to look at a headline and then do further research, using multiple sources, which I sometimes will do. Moreover, I don't just recieve news updates from the news websites but probably most frequently from social media sites, like instagram and snapchat....

3. Most memorable childhood film

Image
Snow White It's been a long time since I last watched Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Not because I think I've outgrown watching Disney films (I don't think I ever could) but because overtime, it has become lost in the piles and piles of Disney classics I have watched since. Yet, it is sill one of the most memorable films of my entire childhood. This is perhaps because it was the only film I can ever remember watching at my grandma's house and even now, it seems to be the only one she has. I can even remember the exact position the dvd sat on the shelf. But I didn't just watch it over and over because it was the only film to watch, I watched because I absolutely adored it. Apparently, I loved it so much I would come home and sing "I'm Wishing", putting my head down the toilet as if it was the well. Although Snow White isn't known to be the most complex princess, her innocence and purity is undeniable and with  the most sweetest v...

2. Favourite box set

Image
Game of Thrones  Nowadays, it is nearly impossible to have never heard of the global phenomenon that is Game of Thrones. Even before watching it myself, I just couldn't escape the buzz that followed this incredibly popular show. As a result, in my mind I already thought I had an idea of what the show would be like, just from knowing a few characters and seeing a few pictures. To be honest, I wasn't expecting it to be something I would enjoy, never being someone to like blood and gore or long fight scenes. However, from the first moment I couldn't have been proved more wrong. I instantly found every second to be perfectly thought out, and even with aspects I wouldn't usually find appealing, I just couldn't draw my eyes away. Amazingly, all characters exceeded my expectations, due to the fact that I didn't realize how complex and significant they would all be. Typically, I am a person who will always support the "good guys", ...

1. Favourite film

Image
Grease Having Grease as one of my mum's all time favourite films, it was inevitable and therefore, unsurprising that at a young age I was introduced to this 1978 musical classic. Although, I didn't understand all of the references and innuendos at the time (thankfully for my parents), it wasn't necessary. The soundtrack alone was enough to captivate me. Even now, it remains my favourite soundtrack from any musical I have ever seen. Whether you're signing your heart out with Rizo's "There are worse things I could do" or  dancing along to songs like "summer nights". This feel-good musical received outstanding reviews when it was released back in 1978 and is still loved by so many decades late, proving it can stand the test of time. Moreover, each character has something to bring to the film and with the cast including  ,   John Travolta ,  Stockard Channing  and  Jeff Conaway , the casting couldn't have been better.
